Projektbeschreibung:
The goal of the project is the value-added processing of organic matter by a combination of plasma treatment with digestion and nutrient recovery technologies to better exploit the environmental and economic potential of biogenic resources. A specific aim is to increase the efficiency of the anaerobic digestion process regarding energy yields and fertilizer quality. However, the entire biomass cycle is considered, including farming, animal husbandry, residue management, refinement of digestates as fertilizers, etc., and targets currently unsatisfactory solutions or gaps for a comprehensive circular bioeconomy by developing and investigating new promising approaches.
